My only concern now is if I should try to fix the petcock of the metal tank while I have the other tank off the bike to replace the turn signal relay or if I should be lazy. This could be a great opportunity to close in on the look I want…

My boss told me yesterday of the possibility to get the side fairings foliated in a brushed metal look. That would save me an infinite amount of time, but at the same time I wanted this possibility to try my hands on fabrication with  0,7 mm sheet metal as a base and then hammer it into the right shape. Of course I don’t have an English wheel so the result will look somewhere between an accident and a ratbike but having come this far, why quit now…?
