How to wrap the pipes

IMG6182Or rather, how not to… But never mind, at least I got the job done. I’ve been meaning to do this for ages and when I received the wraps the other day, I decided to try it out. Looking at the pipes, it wasn’t really as necessary as I thought it was. No updates for quite some time, I know. Things are slow over here and with slow I’m referring to the fact that autumn has come. Sure, there are the occasional day when you could have ridden the bike to work but you never really know. The roads are slippery when temperature drops and the leaves don’t exactly help. Petcock repair

PetcockRepairIt’s always a pleasure coming home to a delivery from the wonderful world of eBay. Today I received a much wanted package from the glorious country in the west: the complete petcock repair kit. I did order a petcock repair kit a while ago, but that came with the two diaphragms and a spring while this had the metal pieces, the plastic disc, the rubber pieces and so on but it did lack the o-ring for the nut sealing the petcock to the tank which the first kit had.
